Carol Taylor Chosen to Lead Evangel University

The Higher Learning Commission has recently approved the merger of Central Bible College, the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, and Evangel University into one institution. The new consolidated Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, will be led by Carol Taylor, who currently serves as president of Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California.
Dr. Taylor has been president of Vanguard University since 2009. Previously, she had served as provost and vice president of academic affairs at the university. Earlier in her career she was vice provost for undergraduate education at Biola University in La Miranda, California, and was an executive at the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey.
Dr. Taylor is a graduate of Evangel University and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. She earned a doctoral degree at Florida State University.
