Two Highly Ranked Women’s Colleges Among the Top Producers of Peace Corps Volunteers

The Peace Corps has announced its annual listing of the colleges and universities that have the most alumni servings as volunteers in its ranks. The University of Washington and the University of Florida tied for the top spot this year with 107 graduates working in the Peace Corps.
In the Small College and Universities category, for schools with less than 5,000 undergraduates, two highly rated women’s colleges made the list of the top producers of Peace Corps volunteers. Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, ranked 8th with 16 graduates working in the Peace Corps. Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, was right behind with 15 alumnae serving as Peace Corps volunteers.
