Noelle Cockett Selected as the Next Provost at Utah State University

Utah State University has announced that current executive vice president and provost Raymond Coward will retire as of July 1, 2013. Noelle Cockett, who currently serves as vice president for extension and dean of the College of Agriculture, was named to succeed Coward next summer. Previously, Dr. Cockett has served as vice provost for academic affairs, interim provost, and interim dean of the Graduate School.
Dr. Cockett is a graduate of Montana State University. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in animal genetics from Oregon State University.
