Pamila Fisher to Lead the City College of San Francisco

Chancellor Don Griffin of the City College of San Francisco has been forced to resign his position because he needed an operation to remove a brain tumor. The college trustees have chosen Pamila Fisher to replace him as interim chancellor.
Dr. Fisher is an educational consultant based in Montana. She is the former chancellor of the Yosemite Community College District based in Modesto, California. She served in that role from 1992 to 2004. Prior to taking the chancellor post, she taught sociology and psychology at the college for 18 years.
Dr. Fisher holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University Stanislaus. She earned a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of the Pacific.
