Two Colleges Win Awards From the National Council for Research on Women

The National Council for Research on Women has announced the winners of its 2012 Member Center Awards. The awards will be presented at the group’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., in June.
The Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women at Brown University will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. The center is being honored for its 30-year commitment to research on women and gender issues.
The Center for Women’s Intercultural Leadership at St. Mary’s College will receive the Diversity and Inclusion Award for its efforts to promote an expanded view of diversity.
