Purdue University Debuts New Website for Victims of Sexual Assault

Purdue University has launched a new website for members of the university community who have been sexually assaulted. The site includes information on what constitutes sexual assault, what to do if a sexual assault occurs, and where to go for help. Dean of students, Danita Brown, stated, “Purdue students are eligible to receive university support regardless of whether or not they choose to be involved in any subsequent criminal, civil, or university disciplinary proceedings.”
The university has also updated its anti-harassment policies.
