Lynn Pardie Named Provost at the University of Illinois Springfield

Lynn Pardie was named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Illinois Springfield. She has been serving in the post on an interim basis since January 2011. She joined the faculty in 1989. At the university, Dr. Pardie has served as professor and chair of the psychology department, interim associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and associate vice chancellor for graduate education and research.

Dr. Pardie is Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Iowa. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
