The New President of Aquinas College

Sister Mary Sarah Galbraith has been chosen as the next president of Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee. She has been teaching history at the college since January of this year. For the previous two years, she was completing her doctoral studies at the University of Sydney in Australia.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Sister Galbraith joined the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in 1988. In 1992, she graduated from Belmont University in Nashville with bachelor’s degree in biology. She then taught and served as an administrator at Catholic schools around the county. She earned master’s degrees at Dominican University in Chicago and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
She will be officially inaugurated as president of the college in January.
