Kim Needy has served as dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas for the past five years. She is a past president of both the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers and the American Society for Engineering Management.

Kiah Duggins was one of the 67 victims who died in the recent plane crash in Washington, D.C. She was scheduled to join the faculty at the Howard University School of Law as an associate professor for the fall 2025 semester.

Monica Lounsbery's career in higher education spans over two decades. She has held academic and administrative roles with California State University, Long Beach and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The women's studies department at Wichita State University in Kansas will now be known as the department of women’s, ethnicity, and intersectional studies.

The women appointed to dean positions are Jenna Shim at the University of Wyoming, Pamela McCauley at Widener University, Susan Kelly-Weeder at George Washington University, Pamela Slaven-Lee at Marymount University, Cheryl Blackman at Bowie State University, Amy Shapiro at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Marie Bukowski at Wichita State University.

Dr. McConnell has served as interim president since June 2022. Earlier, she was provost and chief academic officer for three years. Before her arrival at Saint Joseph’s in 2019, Dr. McConnell held several leadership positions at Rockhurst University, a Jesuit institution in Kansas City, Missouri.

Leigh Small was appointed dean of the Michigan State University College of Nursing. Jennifer Friend has been named dean of the College of Applied Studies at Wichita State University in Kansas and Holly Taylor is the new dean of student life and leadership at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.
