Professor Ankerson recently retired from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2025, following three years of service as executive vice chancellor. Prior to assuming that role in 2022, she served as dean of the university's College of Architecture for six years.
The appointments are Christina Tran at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Nevada, Amanda Boyd at Washington State University, Angela Lewellyn at Elon University in North Carolina, and Kristi Lewis at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.
The women faculty members appointed to new positions are Ana Rangel at Virginia Tech, Sarah Fincham at Washington State University, and Julia Galloway at the University of Montana.
The appointments are Catherine Dulac at Harvard University, Catherine Lang at Washington University in St. Louis, Talia Young at Haverford College in Pennsylvania, Boel Fransson at Washington State University, Flora Cassen at Brandeis University in Massachusetts, and Allison McLarty at Stony Brook University in New York.
