Rose Cuison-Villazor, professor at Rutgers University Law School, and Lily Yan Hughes, assistant dean of the Syracuse University College of Law, are among this year's seven recipients of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association's 2025 Trailblazer Award.

Mridul Datta of Iowa State University, Sudha Rai of Syracuse University, and Hollie Raynor of the University of Tennessee are among this year's recipients of the 2025 Medallion Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The award honors outstanding participation, leadership, and devotion to others in the field and allied health professions.
A faculty member in the School of Business and Justice Studies for over a decade, Dr. Nesbitt currently serves as Utica's provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. She is slated to become the university's next president on January 1.

Sheriah Dixon is the new Title VI coordinator at Syracuse University in New York and Guadalupe Valencia was appointed interim chief financial officer at the University of the Virgin Islands.
Jennifer Ross is interim dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University, Carrie Zebrowsky Cooper is dean of university libraries at Florida State University, and Gwendolyn Lloyd is interim dean of the College of Education at Pennsylvania State University.
The five women appointed to the faculty of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University in New York are Adrienne Dagg and Meris Drew in painting, Eleanor Holdridge in drama, Li “Lily” Jiang in fashion design, and Kyra Stahr in conducting and choral studies.
The appointments are Shikha Nangia at Syracuse University in New York, Stacey Philbrick Yadav at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York, Connie Sung at the University of Michigan, Amanda Demmer at Virginia Tech, Wendy Gilbert at Yale University, and Betsy McCoach at Fordham University in New York.
For three decades, Dr. Liddy was a faculty member at her alma mater, Syracuse University's School of Information Science. She served as the school's dean from 2008 to 2019 and had a stint as Syracuse University's interim provost.
