Dr. Smith has served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Georgia Southwestern State University since July 1, 2018. She is also a tenured professor in the department of psychology and sociology. Earlier, Dr. Smith was an administrator at Washington State University Vancouver from 1997-2018.
Dr. Esterberg has been serving as president of the State University of New York at Potsdam. Prior to her term as SUNY Potsdam president, which began in 2014, Dr. Esterberg served as provost and academic vice president at Salem State University in Massachusetts and as deputy provost at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She will take on her new duties on October 1.
Dominique Ayesha Robinson has been named dean of the Chapel at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, and Gretchen Galbraith was appointed dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the State University of New York at Potsdam.
Dr. Dudley-Eshbach was named president of Salisbury University in 2000. She is the first woman to hold the position and the longest-serving woman president in the history of the University of Maryland System. She will take a one year sabbatical and return to the university as full-time faculty member.
Rhona Free is provost and vice president for academic affairs at Eastern Connecticut State University and Margaret E. Madden is provost and vice president for academic affairs at the Potsdam campus of the State University of New York System.
