Notre Dame of Maryland University has announced that it will transition to a fully co-educational institution for the fall of 2023. Founded in 1895 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, the college made its first inroads into co-education by establishing a weekend college for both men and women. The university offers a wide range of graduate programs, which are open to men.

Christine De Vinne is vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore. Earlier in her career, she was a professor of English and dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Ursuline College.
Marylou Yam to Lead Notre Dame of Maryland University
Dr. Yam has been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs at St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey. Earlier she was dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the business school at St. Peter’s University.
