Dr. Stuber taught home economics at Meredith College for 30 years. For the majority of her tenure, she served as chair of the department of home economics, overseeing significant growth in the program's faculty workforce and academic offerings.
Dr. Trible was known for her feminist interpretations of the Bible. She taught at several higher education institutions, including Wake Forest University, Union Theological Seminary, and Andover Newton Theological School
"When making budget adjustments, Meredith leaders focused on protecting programs and services essential to fulfilling its mission," said a college spokesperson. "These difficult decisions were made for the good of the college as a whole."
Officially launching in fall 2025, the new major in statistical and data sciences at Meredith College aims to provide students with a solid foundation in core statistics, mathematics, and computer science. Assistant professor Emily Lada will serve as the inaugural program coordinator.

The new provosts are Anita Thomas at Meredith College in North Carolina, Margo DelliCaprini at the College of New Jersey, Rachel Davis Mersey at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and Patricia Prelock at the University of Arizona.
The nonprofit corporation serving North Carolina students and families since 1955, administers education loan programs and several major grant and scholarship programs funded by the State of North Carolina for students attending North Carolina colleges and universities.
The new nursing degree program at Meredith College in Raleigh will emphasize healthcare equity and justice, teaching students about ethical practice and cultural sensitivity in patient care.

Meredith College, a liberal arts educational institution for women in Raleigh, North Carolina, has entered into an agreement with North Carolina State University that provides priority admission into Meredith’s master's degree in nutrition–accelerated dietitian nutritionist track to up to four qualified North Carolina State nutrition science undergraduate students.
