Dr. Barnes has been serving as interim president of Cleary University in Howell, Michigan. She is the first woman to lead that educational institution. Before being named interim president, Dr. Barnes was provost and executive vice president of academic affairs at Cleary University.
Dr. Colllins Smith has been serving as interim president since last summer. Before being named interim president, Dr. Collins Smith had been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the university. She has been on the staff at the uni varsity since 2010.
Dr. Collins Smith is serving as interim president. She had been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs. Dr. Collins Smith began her career in higher education at Harris-Stowe State University in 2010 as a project coordinator in the Office of Counseling Services.

The honorees are Peggy Johnson of Penn State, Nancy Leveson of MIT, Nina Caldwell of Maryville University in St. Louis, Sheri Colberg-Ochs of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Isabelle Jouanneau-Fertig of Barnard College in New York City, and Nancy Merner of Auburn University in Alabama.
The 10 women in new teaching posts are Margot Quijano, Stefanie Jegelka, Leora Auslander, Kathryn Ellerbeck, Debra Romberger, Dana Levin, Aarti Gupta, Ericka A. Albaugh, Sally Radovick, and Kal Alston.
