College of Idaho President Charlotte Borst Has Stepped Down
Charlotte Borst became the thirteenth president of the College of Idaho July 2015. She is the only woman to serve as president in the 126-year history of the college. But just over two years into her tenure, Dr. Borst has announced that she is stepping down to “pursue other opportunities.”
Honors and Awards for Six Women Scholars in Academia
The honorees are Catherine J. Randall of the University of Alabama, Bozenna Pasik-Duncan of the University of Kansas, Louise Lamphere of the University of New Mexico, Artletha McSwain of Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, Barnie Vander Boegh of the College of Idaho and Kristina Killgrove of the University of West Florida.
The New President of the College of Idaho
When she takes office in July 2015, Charlotte Borst will be the first woman to serve as president in the 124-year history of the College of Idaho. Currently, she is vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Whittier College in California.
The Next President of Minnesota State University-Moorhead
Since 2011, Anne Blackhurst has served as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at the university. Previously, she held several administrative and faculty positions at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
