The new provosts are Jennifer Jacobs Henderson at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, Nicole Sampson at the University of Rochester in New York, and Michelle Mayo at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The women who are in new teaching roles are Elizabeth Bjerke, Kibibi Voloria Mack-Shelton, Brett Gilbert, Joyce Castle, Yuvay Meyers Ferguson, Joan C. Han, Ann S. Masten, Rebecca C. Harris, and Dawn Herd-Clark.
The new university administrative appointees are Karen Gwinn Clay, Constance Bland, Susan M. Pollart, Khala Granville, Amy R. Wolfson, Romanda Noble-Watson, Sue Lister, and Bridgette Brady.
Taking on new teaching roles are Susan Hockfield, Anne Kenney, Robin Dease, Anastasia Boles and Cecilia King. Anne Kenney was reappointed for another five-year term as University Librarian at Cornell.
