Dr. Rader was recognized for her book, Teaching Fear: How We Learn to Fear Crime and Why It Matters (Temple University Press, 2023), which examines the social learning process that teaches young girls to be more afraid of crime and how these guidelines carry into adulthood.
The American Society of Criminology's Division of Feminist Criminology has honored Dr. Nicole Rader for her book, Teaching Fear: How We Learn to Fear Crime and Why It Matters, which analyzes how society teaches young girls to be afraid of crime.
Through this new agreement, students who earn an associate's degree in music from Cottey College will be able to enroll in the bachelor of music education program at Central Methodist University without leaving the Cottey campus.
