Three Women Appointed to Serve as Diversity Officers at Colleges and Universities
The three women who have been appointed to diversity positions are Michelle Foster at Colorado State University, Anita Dashiell-Sparks at the University of Southern California, and Kristina Marshall at Baker College in Michigan.
Boise State University Scholar Named President-Elect of Respiratory Care Society
Samantha Davis, clinical assistant professor in the department of respiratory care at Boise State University in Idaho, has been elected president-elect of the Idaho Society for Respiratory Care for the year 2020. Davis will serve one year as president-elect and then will serve the Idaho Society for Respiratory Care as president for the year 2021.
Denise Bannan to Once Again Serve as President of the Owosso Campus of Baker College in Michigan
Since 2008, Dr. Bannan has been serving as provost for Baker College and will continue to serve in that role. Dr. Bannan previously served as president of the Owosso campus from 1995 to 2008.
Seven Women Scholars Honored With Notable Awards
The honorees are Michele Cloonan of Simmons College, Karen C. Davis of the University of Cincinnati, Carol Pilgrim of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Anca Sala of Baker College in Michigan, Lisa Kaltenegger of Cornell University, Alison Duvall of the University of Washington, and Brittany Perham of Stanford University.
