Three Women Who Have Been Appointed to Diversity Posts in Higher Education

Lynne M. Holden was named senior associate dean for diversity and inclusion at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Rana Johnson was appointed the inaugural vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at Kansas State University and Jenn Hunter was named chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer for the Big 12 athletic conference.

Three Women Academics Named Macy Faculty Scholars

The five scholars will receive $100,000 each to fund their research for the next two years. The Macy Faculty Scholars Program, launched in December 2010, aims to accelerate needed reforms in health professions education to accommodate the dramatic changes occurring in medical practice and health care delivery.
