The University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public has named six scholars to its faculty. Four of the faculty members who have joined the center are women: Emily M. Godfrey, Heather D. Hill, Jisoo Kim, and Belén Saldías.
The University of Arkansas School of Law has appointed five scholars to endowed professorships. Three of the scholars selected for endowed professorships are women: Amanda Hurst, Annie Smith, and Carol Goforth.
Charlotte Connop, Danielle Howard, and Yi Qun Xu are new assistant professors at Bates College, Clemson University, and the University of Denver, respectively. Sarah Olsen of Williams College in Massachusetts and Karen Kopera-Frye of New Mexico State University are taking on academic leadership roles with their institutions.
The new deans are Vanessa Vásquez at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Jessica Retrum at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Gwendolyn Lloyd at Pennsylvania State University, Katie Hartman at Ohio University, Sarah Feldner at Marquette University in Milwaukee, and Jennifer Roberts at the University of Kansas.
The appointments are Tracy Kijewski-Correa at the University of Notre Dame, Jenifer Shafer at Colorado School of Mines, Wendy Berry Mendes at Yale University, and Emily Cherry Oliver at the University of North Dakota.
Williams College in Massachusetts has promoted Allison Gill, Cynthia K. Holland, Munjulika R. Tarah, and Elizabeth Upton to associate professor. All four women were also awarded tenure.
Wellesley College in Massachusetts, the nation's highest rated liberal arts educational institution for women, has announced promotions and the awarding of tenure to Chipo Dendere, Kara Yacoubou Djima, Sabriya Fisher, Kathya Landeros, and Becca Selden.

Regina Deil-Amen is dean of the College of Education at the University of Arizona, Marna Hostetler is dean of the David L. Rice Library at the University of Southern Indiana, and Delana Schartner is founding dean of University College at Georgia Southern University.
The women who have been selected for endowed faculty positions are Xiumin Martin at Washington University, Suzanne Bart at Purdue University, Vida Praitis at Grinnell College, Erica Edwards at Yale University, Christian Cipriano at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Padma Gulur at Washington University.
The four women promoted to associate professor and granted tenure at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, are Alison Bates in environmental studies, Stacy Doore in computer science, Erin Giffin in economics, and Lindsey Madison in chemistry.
The new provosts are Fatma Mili at Montclair State University in New Jersey, Rose Marie Ward at Northwest Missouri State University, and KerryAnn O'Meara at Fordham University in New York.
