A Trio of Women Who Have Been Named to Endowed Chairs at Major Universities

Hannah Stolze was appointed the inaugural William E. Crenshaw Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management in the department of management in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Stolze, who will join Baylor this fall, currently holds a joint appointment as director and associate professor of supply chain management at Lipscomb University in Nashville. She also serves as executive director and visiting professor of core studies in business at Wheaton College in Illinois. Earlier in her career, Dr. Stolze was an assistant professor at Florida State University.

Dr. Stolze is a graduate of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she majored in international political economics and Mandarin. She earned an MBA at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, and a Ph.D. in business administration at the University of Tennessee.

Teri K. Reed has been named to the George Kaiser Family Foundation Chair and will serve as the inaugural director of the University of Oklahoma Polytechnic Institute in Tulsa. She has been serving as assistant vice president of faculty research development, executive director of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, and professor of chemical engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining the University of Cincinnati faculty in 2016, Dr. Reed held faculty and administrative appointments at Texas A&M University, Purdue University, and the University of Oklahoma from 2000 to 2006.

Dr. Reed is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in petroleum engineering. She earned an MBA from the University of Texas, Permian Basin, and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Arizona State University.

Heidi Hehnly was named the Renée Crown Honors Professor in the Sciences and Mathematics at Syracuse University in New York. Dr. Hehnly, who joined the department of biology at Syracuse in 2018, specializes in the mechanics of cellular division. She is also a member of the interdisciplinary BioInspired Institute and director of the Blatt BioImaging Center.

Dr. Hehnly is a graduate of the University of Rochester in New York, where she majored in biochemistry. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular physiology and biophysics from the College of Medicine at the University of Iowa.
