Thirteen Women Who Have Been Appointed to New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

Hasina Mohyuddin has been named director of equity, diversity, and inclusion at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. She previously served as a research study coordinator.
Mohyuddin is a cum laude graduate of Yale University where she majored in economics. She holds an MBA and a master’s degree in community research and action from Vanderbilt University. She will be completing her Ph.D. in community research and action this fall.
Kenyatta Morrison Johnson has been appointed vice president for enrollment management and student success at Albany State University in Georgia. She was executive director for enterprise risk management at the University System of Georgia.
Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University and an MBA in management information systems from Dallas Baptist University.
Catherine Farley has been named chief of the Allan Hancock College Police Department in Santa Maria, California. She was assistant police chief at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Farley earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Santa Barbara.
Jill Thomas has been appointed the Title IX coordinator and director of equity investigations at Stanford University. She was a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office in Sacramento, California.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and a law degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.
Angelika Williams has been named director of financial aid at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She was the director of scholarships and financial aid at Texas A&M University – San Antonio.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration from Walden University.
Amber Krieg has been named associate director of museum membership and donor relations at the Palmer Museum of Art at Pennsylvania State University. She was the director of development for the Penn State Alumni Association.
Krieg is an alumna of Penn State. She also holds a master’s degree in education from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Jomysha Delgado Stephen has been named vice president for legal affairs at Barnard College in New York City. She has worked for the university for 15 years as chief of staff to the president and in the general counsel’s office.
Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and literature from Barnard College and a law degree from Columbia University.
Nycole Courtney has been appointed interim director of the University of Wyoming’s Native American Education, Research, and Cultural Center. She currently serves as associate dean of students at the university.
Dr. Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies, a master’s degree in counselor education/school counseling and guidance services, and a doctorate in higher education administration.
Deana Card has been named director of research security at Mississippi State University. She was a security associate for the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Card is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
Pamella A Henson has been promoted to executive vice chancellor for alumni and development at Washington University in St. Louis, effective January 2019. She currently serves as vice chancellor for alumni and development programs.
Henson holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Michigan.
A.M. Salaz has been appointed associate dean of research and academic services for University Libraries at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, effective in December. She currently serves as a senior librarian and information scientist.
Dr. Salaz holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Portland State University in Oregon, a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Washington, and a doctorate in higher education from the University of Liverpool.
Jennifer Rabb has been named director and fellow of the McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. She has worked in the lieutenant governor’s office since November 2016.
Director Rabb holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a juris doctorate from the University of Texas Law School and a master of law degree in taxation from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Debra Crosby has been named director of military and veterans programs at Texas Tech University. She has worked for Texas Tech for 33 years and had been serving as interim director since April.
Crosby holds a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies both from Texas Tech University.
