In Memoriam: Susan Alison Wagner, 1950-2016

Susan Wagner, recently retired associate professor of kinesiology at Texas A&M University, died on March 23. She was 65 years old and had suffered from cancer.
Dr. Wagner joined the faculty at Texas A&M University as a lecturer in 1977. She remained on the faculty at the university until retiring in February 2016.
A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wagner grew up on Long Island in New York. She earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education at the State University of New York at Cortland. She held a master’s degree in physical education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Texas A&M University.
The Texas A&M University Foundation is establishing an endowed scholarship fund in her honor.
