New Report Shows Women Continue to Lead in Higher Educational Enrollments

A new report from the U.S. Department of Education offers preliminary data on higher educational enrollments in the 2013-14 academic year.
According to the report, there were 15,850,843 women who were enrolled in higher education during the 2013-14 academic year. They made up 56.9 percent of all enrollments in higher education institutions in the United States.
There were 2,257,793 women enrolled in graduate programs that year. They made up 59.8 percent of all graduate students.
