Amy Marie Haddad to Lead the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities

Amy Marie Haddad, who holds the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Endowed Chair in the Health Sciences and is director of the Center for Health Policy & Ethics at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, was chosen as president-elect of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities. She will serve as president-elect for two years and then become president of the society for the next two years. The society has about 2,000 members.
Professor Haddad is a graduate of Creighton University. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a doctorate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
