Arizona State University Adds Four Women Faculty Members to Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions

Bailey Borman has been named a clinical assistant professor in the School of Public Affairs. She currently serves the Watts College as director of strategic projects and initiatives, where she organizes community engagement through the college’s research, learning, and strategic partners.

Dr. Borman is a graduate of Southern Oregon University, where she majored in English and literary studies. She holds a master’s degree in higher and postsecondary education and a Ph.D. in community resources and development from Arizona State University.

Roni Fraser has been named an assistant professor in the School of Public Affairs. She comes to Arizona State University from the University of Delaware, where she served as a graduate research assistant in the department of sociology and criminal justice, as well as the Disaster Research Center.

Dr. Fraser is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she majored in emergency administration and planning. She holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Delaware.

Sun-Kyung Lee has been named an assistant research professor at the Global Center for Applied Health Research in the School of Social Work. She has served as a postdoctoral fellow with Arizona State University for the past three years.

Dr. Lee received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and her master’s degree in educational measurement and statistics from Korea University in Seoul. She holds a Ph.D. in family social science from the University of Minnesota.

Alexandria Pech has been named an assistant research professor in the Center for Child Well-Being in the School of Social Work. Her academic endeavors center around parental and familial incarceration and how the criminal legal system impacts children, youth, and families.

Dr. Pech is a graduate of Sonoma State University in California, where she majored in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in family studies and human development and a Ph.D. in family and consumer sciences from the University of Arizona.
