Tracey Ford has been appointed vice provost and dean of student affairs at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She has served in the position on an interim basis since August and will begin her permanent appointment on July 1. Previously, Dr. Ford held a similar role as vice president for student affairs at Tennessee State University.
Dr. Ford holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Norfolk State University in Virginia and a master’s degree in genetics from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She earned a doctorate in higher education from the University of Georgia.
Tammi Dice has been appointed as interim dean of the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She has been serving as associate dean. She joined the faculty at the university in 2005.
Dr. Dice earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Old Dominion University. She earned a Ph.D. in counselor education from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Shauna Corry has been named dean of the University of Idaho’s College of Art and Architecture. She has served as interim dean of the college since 2016. Dr. Corry has been a professor of interior design at the University of Idaho since 2001 after teaching for a decade at North Dakota State University.
Dr. Corry earned her bachelor’s degree in housing and interiors from Utah State University. She holds a master’s degree and an interdisciplinary doctorate focusing on environment and behavior from Washington State University.

Dr. Lassetter holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Brigham Young. She earned a doctorate from the Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Sharp is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she majored in history. She holds a master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Ph.D. in the history and sociology of technology and science from Georgia Tech.

Dr. Reese earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. She holds a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Ph.D. in anatomy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Montoya holds a bachelor’s degree in applied engineering science and a Ph.D. in marketing and statistics from Michigan State University.

Professor Freiburger earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She holds a master’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and a doctorate in criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
