Jane Milley to Lead the Parkersburg Campus of West Virginia University

West Virginia University has named Jane Milley as interim president of the Parkersburg campus. West Virginia University Parkersburg, near the western border of the state with Ohio, enrolls about 2,500 students. Women make up 60 percent of the student body.
In accepting the appointment, Dr. Milley said ‘I look forward to working with the faculty, staff, division chairs and administrators as we continue the excellent work that has been done to serve students and the Mid-Ohio Valley.”
Dr. Milley has more than 40 years of experience in higher education. Most recently, she served as interim senior vice president for academic affairs at West Virginia University Parkersburg. From 2007 to 2014, she worked as a consultant for the American Association of Community Colleges and the Center for Law and Social Policy.
Dr. Milley holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University, a master’s degree from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from Syracuse University in New York.
