Three Women Appointed to Full Professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Woman’s University

Kathy DeOrnellas was promoted to full professor in the department of psychology and philosophy. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Dr. DeOrnellas earned a master’s degree in child and family counseling from the University of North Texas and a Ph.D. in school psychology from Texas Woman’s University.
Camelia Maier was appointed professor of biology at Texas Woman’s University. She is a graduate of the University of Bucharest in Romania. Dr. Maier earned a master’s degree in biology and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of North Texas.
Junalyn Navarra-Madsen was promoted to full professor of mathematics. She joined the faculty at Texas Woman’s University in 2004. Dr. Navarra-Madsen is a graduate of the University of Saint La Salle in Bacolod, Philippines. She holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Utah and a second master’s degree and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas.
