In Memoriam: Lauren Goodloe, 1960-2016

Lauren Goodloe, assistant dean for clinical operations in the School of Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, died on July 31. She was 56 years old and had suffered from breast cancer.
Dr. Goodloe also served as nursing director at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. She had been on the staff at the medical center for 27 years. Dr. Goodloe served as president of the Virginia Nurses Association.
Dr. Goodloe held bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University.
