Brenau University, an educational institution for women in Gainesville, Georgia, has announced that Alecia Webb is the new director of the university’s campus in Jacksonville, Florida. She had been serving as the assistant director of the campus at the U.S. Navy’s Kings Bay Submarine Base in Georgia.
Brenau University began offering coeducational undergraduate and graduate classes in business at the Jacksonville campus last fall. “It’s a new horizon for Brenau,” Webb said. “I think we have a great opportunity here in Jacksonville to expand our student body and spread the Brenau message throughout Florida. We want to build the business programs and, once we have a solid student base, see if there are other programs that can be brought to the Jacksonville campus in the near future.”
Webb holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in management from Brenau University. She has been an administrator at the university for 11 years.
