New Roles for Three Women Faculty Members

B. Gloria Choi was appointed the Samuel A. Goldblith Career Development Assistant Professor of Applied Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She joined the MIT faculty in 2013 as an assistant professor in the department of brain and cognitive sciences.
Dr. Choi is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
Adrea Lawrence, an associate professor in the College of Education at the University of Montana, has been appointed to the editorial board of the journal History of Education Quarterly. She will serve a three-year term on the board.
Dr. Lawrence joined the faculty at the University of Montana in 2013 after teaching at American University in Washington, D.C. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Ph.D. in education policy from Indiana University in Bloomington.
Brandy N. Kelly Pryor was appointed assistant professor of information sciences in the School of Public Health at the University of Louisville. She will also serve as director of the Center for Health Equity at the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. She has been serving on the faculty at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Kelly Pryor holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and a master’s degree in education administration and human development from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She earned a Ph.D. in recreation, park, and tourism sciences at Texas A&M University.
