In Memoriam: Linda Mae Ahuna-Hamill, 1958-2015

Linda Ahuna-Hamill, the assistant vice president for student affairs at Colorado State University, died on May 22 while undergoing treatment for liver cancer at the Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. She was 57 years old.
A native of California, Dr. Ahuna-Hamill served on the faculty of the School of Education in the College of Health and Human Sciences. She was one of the founders of the university’s Asian/Pacific American Cultural Center and served as its director for 20 years.
Dr. Ahuna-Hamill is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine. She held a master’s degree in college student personnel administration and a Ph.D. in sociology from Colorado State University.
