Two Women With New University Teaching Roles

Mandie Weinandt was named faculty coordinator for the MBA program at the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Weinandt joined the faculty at the university in 2011.
Dr. Weinandt holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of South Dakota. She earned a Ph.D. in economics from the Swiss Management Center in Zurich.
Anne Underhill was appointed chair of the department of anthropology at Yale University in Connecticut. She will become chair on July 1. Before joining the faculty at Yale in 2010, Dr. Underhill was a curator of East Asian anthropology at the Field Museum in Chicago and taught at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Professor Underhill specializes in the archaeology of East Asia, primarily China. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia.
