One Woman Among the Four Finalists for Director of the West Virginia University Extension Service

Coberly_BeverlyWest Virginia University has announced a field of four final candidates for the position of dean and director of the WVA Extension Service. All candidates will spend two days in Morgantown to meet with the administration, faculty, and staff and to give a public presentation. The candidates will also go on a tour and meet with extension constituents. One of the four candidates for the position is a woman.

Beverly Coberly is associate vice provost and associate director of the University of Missouri Extension. She has held this post since 2011. Previously, she was the regional director for southwestern Missouri and served as director of off-campus operations.

Coberly is a graduate of the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, where she majored in home economics education. She holds a master’s degree in clothing and textiles and is enrolled in the Ph.D. program in architectural studies at the University of Missouri.
