One Woman Among the Four Finalists for President of the University of Nebraska System

The University of Nebraska has announced four finalists to become president of the university system. All of the candidates will visit campus for public forums, meetings, and interviews before the end of the year. One of the four candidates is a woman.
Sally Rockey is deputy director for extramural research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2008, she was appointed to this post on an interim basis and was named to the position permanently in 2010. Previously, Dr. Rockey worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture for nearly 20 years, rising to the post of Chief Information Officer.
Dr. Rockey received a Ph.D. in entomology from Ohio State University.
