One Woman Among Four Finalists for Vice President for Instruction at the University of Georgia

The University of Georgia has announced four finalists for the position of vice president for instruction. All four candidates will visit the university’s campus by November 10 for interviews and public forums. One of the four candidates is a woman.
Robin Lynn Wright is professor and chair of the department of biology teaching and learning and senior associate dean for undergraduate initiatives at the University of Minnesota. She joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota in 2003 after teaching for more than a decade at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Wright is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia. She holds a Ph.D. in biological sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
