Ellen Podgor Elected President of the Southeastern Association of Law Schools

Ellen S. Podgor was elected president of the Southeastern Association of Law Schools, a regional association that represents 72 member schools and 31 other affiliates.
Podgor is the Gary R. Trombley Family White Collar Crime Research Professor at Stetson University in Gulfport, Florida. Professor Podger is the co-author of White Collar Crime in a Nutshell (West Academic Publishing, 4th ed., 2009 ) and Understanding International Criminal Law (Lexis/Nexis, 2nd ed., 2008). She is also the editor of the White Collar Crime Prof Blog.
Professor Podgor is a graduate of Syracuse University in New York. She earned an MBA at the University of Chicago, a juris doctorate at Indiana University-Indianapolis, and a master’s degree in law at Temple University in Philadelphia.
