Alison Davis Is the New President of the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals

Alison F. Davis, professor of agricultural economics at the University of Kentucky was named president of the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals. The association, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary, provides networking and is a source of information about training opportunities for extension professionals who concentrate at least some of their work on community development.
Professor Davis stated that “my goal is to try to increase membership and to provide other opportunities beyond an annual conference and some trainings to really make NACDEP beneficial to its membership.”
Professor Davis is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from North Carolina State University.
