Roberta Evans to Lead University of Montana Western in Dillon

Roberta Evans was named interim chancellor of the University of Montana Western in Dillon. The campus enrolls about 1,500 students and women make up 57 percent of the student body.

For the past nine years, Dr. Evans has served as dean of the University of Montana’s Phyllis J. Washington College of Education and Human Sciences. She will continue in this role while she leads the University of Montana Western. Dr. Evans has been with the University of Montana since 1989.

Dr. Evans holds an educational doctorate from the University of Nevada, Reno.
