Professor Christine Mazier Is a Finalist for Provost at Purdue University

Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, has announced three finalists for the position of university provost. All three finalists are scheduled to visit the Purdue campus before April 22 for interviews and public forums. One of the three finalists is a woman.
Christine M. Mazier is vice president and senior associate vice provost at the University of Notre Dame. She is also a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Notre Dame. Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president for academic affairs, provost, vice president for research, and dean of the Graduate School at the University of Minnesota. She also served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Mazier holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a Ph.D., all from Purdue University.
