Ethel Harris Named Scholar-in-Residence at the American Dental Education Association

Ethel Harris, an assistant professor in the School of Dentistry at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, was named the 2014 Enid A. Neidle Scholar-in-Residence for Women at the American Dental Education Association in Washington, D.C. The program will allow Dr. Harris to spend three months in Washington conducting research on women’s oral health issues and exploring issues facing women in dental education.
The program honors Enid A. Neidle, the former president of the American Dental Education Association and is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Inc.
Dr. Harris has been on the faculty at Meharry Medical College since 2011. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University and holds a doctor of dental surgery degree from Meharry Medical College.
