University of Kentucky Scholar Named Associate Editor of Major Journal in Neuroscience

Donna Wilcock, an assistant professor of physiology in the College of Medicine and the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging at the University of Kentucky, was appointed associate editor of The Journal of Neuroscience. She will edit the journal’s neurobiology of disease section.
Dr. Wilcock’s research examines the role in inflammation in Alzheimer’s disease therapeutics and the neurovascular unit in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
