Christine Hailey to Lead the College of Engineering at Utah State University

Christine E. Hailey is the new dean of the College of Engineering at Utah State University in Logan. She has been serving in the post on an interim basis since July. Previously, she was senior associate dean.
Dr. Hailey is a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and is the director of the National Center for Engineering and Technology Education, an organization funded by the National Science Foundation. Before joining the faculty at Utah State in 2003, Dr. Hailey taught at the University of Texas at Tyler and spent nearly a decade at the Sandia National Laboratories, headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dr. Hailey is a graduate of Colorado State University, where she majored in mathematics. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
