In Memoriam: Anne M. Mannion, 1936-2013

Anne Mannion, associate professor emerita at the Lincoln Center campus of Fordham University in New York City, died late last month. She was 77 years old.
Dr. Mannion graduated from Fordham University in 1958 and joined the faculty of the university a year later. She taught at Fordham while studying for a doctorate in medieval monasticism and institutional history at Columbia University.
Dr. Mannion taught at Fordham for 53 years until her retirement in 2012. She was the director of the honors program at the Lincoln Center campus and in 2008 was named director of the university’s Center for Teaching Excellence.
