Director of Federal Relations for the University of Wisconsin Retires

Rhonda Norsetter, the senior special assistant to the chancellor and director of federal relations at the University of Wisconsin at Madison has announced her retirement. She has spent nearly a half century on the Madison campus as a student and administrator.
Norsetter was responsible for all programs at the university that received funding from the federal government. She traveled to Washington, D.C., almost every month to meet with lawmakers and higher education officials.
After graduating from the university, in 1968 she began her career in the Office of Student Financial Aid and 23 years later was named associate director of the office. She has spent the last 20 or more years in federal relations.
