Kimberly Vonnahme Honored by the American Society for Animal Science

Kimberly Vonnahme, an associate professor of animal science at North Dakota State University, received the 2013 Young Scientist Award from the western section of the American Society for Animal Science at the group’s annual meeting in Bozeman, Montana.
Dr. Vonnahme joined the faculty at North Dakota State University in 2004. She conducts research on how maternal nutrition impacts the development of the placenta and vascular function.
Dr. Vonnahme is a graduate of Iowa State University. She holds a master’s degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. in reproductive physiology from the University of Wyoming.
