Wayne State University School of Law Professor to Head ABA Committee on Taxation

bealeLinda Beale, professor at the Wayne State University School of Law in Detroit, was named chair of the Committee on Standards of Tax Practice of the American Bar Association. She will assume her new duties on July 1. She is the author of the blog “A Taxing Matter.”

Beale is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, where she majored in chemistry. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in linguistics from Cornell University. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Cornell Law school and holds a master’s degree in taxation law from New York University.
