Lesa Huber Honored by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education

Lesa L. Huber, clinical assistant professor in the School of Public Health at Indiana University in Bloomington, has been selected to receive the Hiram J. Friedman Mentorship Award from the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education. Professor Huber, an expert on the biological, psychological, and social determinants of aging, will receive the award at the association’s annual meeting in February. Her research focuses on new technologies that will support independent living for older Americans.
Dr. Huber is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska.
